Te Awaroa is an upcoming game from Sony Interactive Entertainment America (SIE) that is set to release on the PlayStation 4. It is a new IP from the developers at FromSoftware and will be their next game in the “Soulsborne” series. There has been no release date set for the game, but it is likely that it will come out sometime in 2019. It has not been announced whether or not Te Awaroa will be a singleplayer or multiplayer game, but it seems likely that it will be a multiplayer title. There are no details about the gameplay of Te Awaroa yet, but it is likely to be similar to Soulsborne games like Bloodborne and Dark Souls. The developers at FromSoftware have always been known for their dark and gothic games, so this could mean that Te Awaroa could also feature some very dark and gothic content. It’s also possible that Te Awaroa could be a prequel to FromSoftware’s upcoming game “Bloodborne”. This would make sense as both games are set in Japan during the Heian period (794-1185). If this turns out to be true, then Te Awaroa would make perfect sense as its development was started after FromSoftware’s successful release of Bloodborne.
