Android devices are constantly being updated with new features and bug fixes, but one problem that persists is deleted emails. Emails that are deleted from a device can often be recovered by using a data recovery tool or by restoring a backup. The reason deleted emails keep coming back is because Android devices store email messages in the “Drafts” folder. This folder is located in the “Email” app on Android devices and it’s accessible even if the email messages have been deleted from the main inbox. If you delete an email message from your device, it’s not actually gone forever. The message will still be stored in the “Drafts” folder, and you can access it by opening the “Email” app and selecting the “Drafts” tab. If you want to permanently delete an email message from your device, you’ll need to delete it from the “Email” app and also remove it from the “Drafts” folder. ..
– A pop-up may have been set and you didn’t see it. This is the most likely reason given that the email will come back with a new subject and body and there’s no way to tell what triggered this action on your phone or tablet.
– The app might be syncing data and forgetting to update after deleting an individual contact like Gmail, Kakaotalk, etc. To fix this issue just go into Settings > Accounts and apps > (app) > Data sync and turn off Automatic synchronization for mail so if you delete an account from within the app, it won’t re-sync information in the future without manual intervention.
– If your device was previously synced with iCloud before switching off of iMessage and switching to a non-Apple device and you’re still receiving and sending emails on the old iCloud account, then deleted email will be synced with your new device. One way to fix this is by logging into your previous iCloud account and clicking ‘delete’ for all mail in order to stop it from re-syncing after deleting an individual contact.
– If you’re using a work email and the company’s account is set to sync automatically, deleted emails will be synced and reappear. To fix this issue go into Settings > Accounts and apps > (app) and turn off Data synchronization for mail to stop it from re-syncing after deleting an individual contact.
– Sometimes when someone deletes their spammers or junk folder and then restores that same Gmail tab afterward new spam messages are downloaded from Google servers onto your devices’ inbox even if they were previously gone. The only way to solve this would be by turning off data synchronization for all of your accounts on the device as well as clearing out any caches in order to prevent old information from being replicated and stored again.”
