AT&T customers who want to use Cricket’s new SIM cards in their phones will be out of luck. The carrier has announced that the Cricket SIM cards will not work with AT&T phones. The reason for this is that Cricket and AT&T have different network frequencies. The Cricket SIM cards use a GSM frequency, while the AT&T network uses a CDMA frequency. This means that the two networks won’t be able to communicate with each other. This isn’t the first time that this has happened. Back in 2013, T-Mobile customers were also unable to use their Sprint SIM cards in their AT&T phones. The reason for this was that Sprint and AT&T had different network frequencies as well. So if you want to use a Cricket SIM card in an AT&T phone, you’ll have to go with another carrier or buy an unlocked phone. ..
