Xbox One S is no longer available for purchase from Microsoft. The company has announced that the console will be discontinued on November 15th, 2018. This comes as a surprise to many as the console was released just a few months ago and had been in development for some time. The Xbox One S was designed to compete with Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Nintendo’s Switch. However, it didn’t do well in its debut and was quickly discontinued. Microsoft has since released a new console, the Xbox One X, which is much more powerful and can support games that require an internet connection. The decision to discontinue the Xbox One S may be due to this new console’s popularity or because Microsoft is no longer able to make money off of it. It’s also possible that Microsoft is planning on releasing a new version of the Xbox One that will support the game “Call of Duty: WWII.”
